Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club Offers Guests a Walk on the Wild Side

Founded in 1991 by Michael Galardi, Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club is located on Western Avenue between Industrial Road and I15. If the joint looks familiar to you, it may be because the club played a starring role in the iconic 1995 film “Showgirls.”

The club is managed by former World Wrestling Federation star The Godfather (aka Papa Shango aka Kama aka Kama Mustafa aka The Goodfather – yeah, he was a bit of a chameleon back in his pro wrestler days).  And every Friday and Saturday night, he’s in the house to personally meet and greet guests.

The liberal use of blue and pink neon inside is unmistakably Las Vegas and with ten poles spread across the main and five side stages to accommodate the club’s talented dancers, there is no way to miss the action. The main room features multiple chairs and tables for guests to spread out and mingle. The club claims to feature more than 500 dancers in a 24 hour period during most weekends, so if you can’t find an entertainer here you like, you just aren’t trying hard enough.

The G-Spot is a mirrored room located next to the main entrance for private laps dances. The venue has a second mirrored room and VIP area for bottle service customers. Multiple big screen TVs in the main room and at the bar allow sports fans to multi-task as they keep tabs on their favorite teams.

Bottle packages include free limousine transportation to the club and complimentary VIP entry. The Tiger package accommodates up to five guests with one premium bottle, the Leopard package is for up to eight guests and includes two premium bottles and the deluxe Cheetah package offers three premium bottles and admission for up to 15 people.

Like most gentlemen’s clubs in Sin City, this one has a couples friendly environment. Plan an evening with someone special, book the couples package and you get a free limo ride, VIP entry, no cover and one bottle of house champagne.

Cheetahs is open around the clock seven days a week with special themes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tuesday is industry night from 8 pm until midnight with free domestics, imports, wells and wine for locals. Guests enjoy discounted prices for double shots and drinks on Double D Wednesdays from 5 am until 5 pm. Feed Your Crew Fridays features complimentary pizza and hot wings, no cover, giveaways and prizes for the largest crew in attendance. Guests hanging out on Sunday can purchase bottles for $100 each. Happy Hour specials are available daily from 7 am until 8 pm for the early crowd.

Planning a bachelor or bachelorette party? Cheetahs has you covered with a special package price for a maximum of eight guests. The club will pick your group up from any location near the strip and set you up with VIP entry and premium seating for everyone. The DJ will give a shout out to the guest of honor. Also included in this package are a free t-shirt, free hat and two premium bottles for the group to share.

For a club that has been in business for more than three decades, Cheetahs holds its own against the bigger, swankier clubs that have sprung up in Las Vegas in recent years. Through it all, it remains a popular hangout for locals and visitors, alike with its casual atmosphere and décor that screams Old School Vegas. It caters to a clientele that includes everyone from traveling businessmen to local construction workers.

If the wildlife you’re looking for happens to be of the two-legged variety, you will not be disappointed with a visit to Cheetahs.
