Drai’s Beach Club Takes Las Vegas Party Pools to New Heights

Opening on Memorial Day Weekend just in time for the 2014 Las Vegas pool season, Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub offers guests the chance to party with stunning Strip views from 11 stories high atop the Cromwell. The Strip’s only rooftop adult pool is the brainchild of nightlife entrepreneur Victor Drai. Drai’s other contributions in Sin City include XS Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas and Tryst Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. This time he’s raising the bar for daylife.

The venue enjoys a prime Strip location on the northeast corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Rd, making it easily accessible from almost anywhere in the city.

The lower level of this 35,000 square foot Beach Club has two main swimming pools. Ten 35-foot natural palm trees surround the pool deck offering a shady retreat from the blazing desert sun. The pools have central wet decks and seating arranged around the perimeter. Guests can reserve daybeds for premium seating on the main deck. Pool deck booths and poolside banquettes offer additional VIP seating options. Panorama booth seating offers views of the pool deck and Las Vegas Strip.

Ten bungalows located on the lower deck along one side of the main pools have HD televisions and access to five private pools. On the mezzanine level, VIP guests can reserve one of seven daybeds surrounding a private pool or one of the luxury cabanas. Each mezzanine level cabana offers a private bathroom with shower, a 55” HD television, a fan, daybed, two couches and water misters. The south mezzanine cabanas are located to the right of the DJ booth offering excellent views of all the poolside action as well as the Strip. And by the way, European sunbathing is allowed on the mezzanine level pool deck, so ladies can feel free to work on those pesky tan lines.

The venue has two main bars to keep guests well hydrated and a state of the art DJ booth with an oversized LED screen. Visual elements were designed by SJ Lighting, by the same creative minds responsible for the lighting and visual architecture supporting Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and multiple marquee nightclubs.

Drai intends to break the mold by passing on the million dollar DJs and putting more focus on up and coming talent. The venue’s resident DJ lineup is a group of international performers who will perform a diverse mixture of commercial and underground dance music, EDM and dubstep with audio artists from Australia, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands and the United States. The lineup for 2014 includes Eric Prydz, Arty, Makj, Showtek, 12th Planet, Sidney Samson and a dozen more.

Guests can enjoy a bite to eat from the extensive menu offering breakfast selections, appetizers, pizzas, salads, sliders and party platters. Top it off with a refreshing sorbet, gelato or ice cream bar.

The pool deck is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am until 7 pm while the Beach Club is open Friday through Sunday from 10 am until 7 pm. Access to the Drai’s Beach Club is via one of six dedicated elevators located at the porte chochere and on the casino floor

When the sun goes down, the Beach Club and Nightclub operate together, allowing guests to mix and mingle indoors or out as the mood suits. If you’re still not ready to end the party, head to the basement where the newly renovated Drai’s After Hours entertains guests until well after the sun rises. At the Cromwell, Drai’s has your party needs covered from top to bottom and around the clock.
