The Ghostbar at the Palms takes Las Vegas adult nightlife to a new level with its magnificent city views from the 55th floor of the resort’s Ivory Tower.
This swanky lounge that acts like a nightclub has a sophisticated style all its own with black, white and vibrant fuchsia décor that shines next to the stunning views of the Strip at night. Warm wood accents and large Murano-style chandeliers chandeliers add to the cozy ambience. Comfortable leather banquettes arranged around the perimeter face 14’ windows that stretch from the floor to the ceiling and offer 180-degree views of Sin City. Four large screens integrate the venue’s social media feed. A fireplace lit with floating candles adds a dramatic touch.
Although Ghostbar bills itself as a boutique nightclub, there is some open space but no traditional dance floor. This is great for visitors who are looking for a cool place to hang out and knock back a few cocktails while enjoying the view and avoiding the crowds. Live DJs provide the background sounds with a steady stream of rock and hip hop favorites.
One wall features glass doors opening out onto the patio where there is additional seating available and boxwood hedges lining the deck and outside bar. Walk out far enough and you will find a glass floor insert featuring an unobstructed view 55 floors straight down to the Palms Pool and Bungalows. It may freak you out a bit at first but just remember you’re perfectly safe. Once your stomach settles down you’ll be telling your friends all about it.
The specialty cocktail menu features 11 creative concoctions with exotic ingredients. The That’s What She Said is a mixture of fever tree ginger beer, Ciroc coconum, fresh lemon juice and mango juice garnished with candied mango and ginger.
Oddly enough, the most raucous parties at Ghostbar go down on Saturday afternoons during the summer season. That’s when the venue transforms into the craziest dayclub in Vegas. Ghostbar Dayclub offers daytime drinking at its best with themed parties featuring live DJs, go-go dancers, and piñatas, from 1 pm until 6 pm. Guests are highly encouraged to wear costumes and get in on the action. Fog machines and confetti cannons keep the mood festive while beer bongs, kegstands and glassless shots ensure the libations flow freely. The daytime debauchery at this popular weekly event knows absolutely no bounds. If you don’t have a costume, no worries – casual attire is perfectly acceptable for this daytime party. Believe us when we say, brunch has never been this much fun.
Throughout the year, Ghostbar participates in the Palm’s resort-wide holiday celebrations with celebrity DJs and special events planned for Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend and New Year’s Eve. The patio offers some of the most spectacular views in the valley of the Las Vegas Strip’s New Year’s fireworks display.
This hotspot opens at 8 pm, so if you arrive early, you can just catch the spectacular sight of a summer desert sunset from the patio.
#LadiesBeLike Wednesdays caters to the fairer sex. Start the evening with $5 cocktails and $9 menu items and keep the good times rolling with a complimentary Rose champagne bar from 10 pm until midnight and a 50 percent discount on all cocktails.
Whether you looking for a cool place to get the party started or a suitable place to chill for the whole evening, Ghostbar at the Palms has you covered. See for yourself why this popular place to party was named the Las Vegas Lounge of the Year at the 2014 Nightclub & Bar Awards.
